This month has been pretty great thus far.

I got my laptop back so I got back into journaling again.

Currently I am at a restaurant right now where I help with design as I journal.

In terms of hospitality, I’ve been wearing many hats thus far which I am grateful for as I help Rial Estate’s team,

Since I am at a restaurant right now and we recently started using the host stand which is placed outside by the entrance, maybe I can talk about that a little.

I think the stand itself is useful in a sense that the host can put an iPad and other things inside the stand drawer to store different things but I wonder if it could be designed differently.

Today I felt a less energetic than usual I don’t know why.

In terms of hospitality, I think I need to keep helping out my host for Airbnb and focus on interior design and guest communication a bit more whenever I get time.

There are some properties that can look better in terms of interior which I can start helping right now but I am excited to start doing that with small things like changing the bathroom soap dispenser for example to look more luxurious, etc.

Today I woke up at 6AM to get a stand-by ticket for Jimmy Fallon Show which I ended up attending in the afternoon with one of the Airbnb guests.

While waiting in the line in the morning, I met two more people who were Super Hosts of Airbnb.

By having a conversation with them, I learned so much about Airbnb business which fueled my dream even more to start my own hospitality business soon.

I learned that it’s important to always give guests nice towels, nice items, etc. to make the experience feel special so that guests are willing to book whether the room is expensive or not compared to other listings.

I want to set a routine for myself to start networking with landlords in Midtown to list some properties.

I want to list midtown properties simply because that’s where I am.

After listing one property with multiple rooms where different guests can book like the place I am living right now, I want to move there and build the business.
